Psalm 23:27 - A beautiful graveyard

Matthew 23:27 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean." NIV Jesus is speaking to some religious leaders and He calls them something terrible. On the outside they look holy and wonderful, but inside is a totally different story. Christianity is not a religion, we cannot impress God with things that we do in our own strength. Christianity is a relationship with God, let us draw near to Him now in prayer. Father, You see every part of me. Clean my heart and make me a pure vessel for you please. In Jesus Name, Amen

The power of your imagination

Have you ever wondered about your imagination? How easy is it to get lost in a day dream? Why do you think God give us the ability to dream up stuff? How do we do that? By using our imagination . Galatians 3:11 ". . . The righteous shall live by faith" ESV Praise God for giving us such a valuable tool! Yet it is often misunderstood or abused. People are admonished when they day dream and called names like "dreamer", but is this not what God wants us to do? To dream about the future? Proverbs 13:12 "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life" ESV When we lose hope, we stop dreaming. Offense and the church

In Matthew 18:21 Jesus tells us to five up to 70 x 7 times. Forgiveness is needed because of a hurt or a trespass. Kingdom dynamics (from the Spirit Filled Life Bible) says we are warned not to gorget how God forgave us, when people harm us. Unforgiveness restricts God's work in our lives. The spirit of Unforgiveness exacts a toll on our bodies, minds and emotions. Matthew 6:14‭-‬15 "if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." ESV Emotional hurts happen easier when we are exhausted or emotionally drained. Someone close to you, possibly someone in leadership in church says or does something and you feel really hurt. Psalm 4:4 "Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent" ESV Some react by leaving the church and joining another, while carrying that offence with them.
